I wrote this song as a response to lots of things wrong in our culture towards Queer culture and life. The first verse is an attack on homophobia and an embracement of my pansexuality. The second is an attack on perceived gender binaries, even though they do not exist, culturally or even biologically. The last is about my personal issues with the treatment and perception of trans* and gender-variant peoples, specifically myself.
lyrics
Why does it matter who I fall in love with? I shouldn't be subject to interrogation. I love who I love because I am human. There's no big difference, and it's not that important. There's male and then female, at least that's what we're taught. We're all our own selves, no binary system. Gender is social it's not scientific. Though sex can be changed, our mind's more important.
No room for your phobia.
It's time for equality.
And love is a right so you can't take it away!
What does it matter, the clothes that I wear are mine and not yours so they're none of your business. Gender conventions and heternormative indoctrination of hatred destroys people's lives.
